Fire in Busy destroys mobile home

Staff Reporter

A fire at a residence in the Busy community of Perry County destroyed a mobile home Wednesday afternoon.

The Avawam fire department responded to a call at 8044 KY Hwy 451 just after 1 p.m. Officials were able to control the fire and keep it from spreading to neighboring residences.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the fire.
