Hazard and Buckhorn kicked off the 2013 54th district baseball tournament. The Wildcats got on the board first but could not hold on for the win against the powerful Bulldogs.

Hazard got off to a slow, but steady start, rolling up runs a little at a time. The Bulldogs exploded late in the contest as Jordan Olinger and Even Whitaker both hit home runs, helping Hazard to end the game early 11-1.
