The Perry County Central Commodores closed out their season last week with the Powell County Pirates. The Commodores held the lead early, but could not close the deal, falling 4-2.
Perry Central managed to take the early lead with a run in the second inning. Nathan Pray got aboard with a hit, and promptly stole second. Pray would later score on a hit by Austin Neace.
Powell County answered with a pair of runs to take the 2-1 lead. The Commodores would tie the game in the bottom of the frame.
Derrick Luttrell led off with a double, and moved to third on a pass ball. Luttrell then crossed the plate when Tanner Collins grounded out to second. The Commodores would give up a pair of runs, and the game, late, falling 4-2.
