Over the weekend, the Hazard Lady Bulldog volleyball team participated in the Knott County Throw Down tournament. The Lady Bulldogs started with a loss to Pikeville, but rebounded for wins over Owsley County and Knott Central.
In the first game, Hazard would take on the Lady Panthers of Pikeville. The Lady Bulldogs would lag behind in the first game, and lost by the final of 25-15. They would pick up the pace in the second game, but came up short 25-22.
The Lady Bulldogs would not struggle with the Lady Owls of Owsley County in their second match up. Hazard would blow through the contest with a 2-0 win, taking the first game 25-8, and the second 25-16.
Hazard would conclude their evening with the host Knott Central Lady Patriots. This game would not be so easy as it would take three games to settle the outcome.
