The Perry County Central Lady Commodore soccer team will roll into the postseason with the number one seed in the district. The Lady Commodores finished the season with a 10-6-1 record, and a .750 winning percentage in the district. They will draw the bye to the championship game.
The Lady Commodores played a pair of games in their final week, starting with a game at Whitley County. Perry Central did not come away with the win, but they did not get hung with the loss either. The game ended in a 1-all tie. Kelly Arredondo scored the team’s only goal, while Keisha Couch chipped in with the assist.
Perry Central concluded their regular season with the Sheldon Clark Lady Cardinals. The Lady Commodores defeated the Lady Cardinals 5-4 in the opening game of the season.
The Lady Commodores took a while to get started, but got on a roll as the game neared the half. Perry Central would finish the game with the 5-0 win.
Kelly Arredondo, Keisha Couch and Madison Eversole each had a goal, while Whitley Gordon put in two goals. The only assist of the game went to Keisha Couch.
