The Hazard Lady Bulldogs are getting ready for the upcoming season, and are looking to improve on last season’s 11-18 mark. The Lady Bulldogs suffered through several key injuries during the season, giving several of their younger players the opportunity to get some playing time.

The Lady Bulldogs will be returning several key players from last season as seniors Alexis Griffie, Colbi Johnson and Morgan Robinson will provide leadership for the team. Sophomores Alyssa Muha and Destiny Walker also saw major time last season.

Hazard will begin their season on the road early taking on Lee County and Cordia. The Lady Bobcats finished last season with an 11-18 record while Cordia finished 2-21. This should provide the Lady Bulldogs with some time to sort things out.

The Lady Bulldogs will then pull a four game home stand. They will start with South Laurel (7-19), and follow with Powell County (14-11), Breathitt County (23-8), and South Floyd (13-14).

Hazard has several younger players that will figure into the mix this season. Coach Harold Brashear should have his line up secured by the time the Christmas break is over.

Nov 30 Lee County Away

Dec 3 Cordia Away

Dec 5 South Laurel Home

Dec 7 Powell County Home

Dec 10 Breathitt County Home

Dec 12 South Floyd Home
