On Friday, the Hazard Bulldogs finished their preseason schedule with a scrimmage game at home. The Bulldogs took on the Pulaski County Maroons.
Despite being a little short handed as the juniors were on a trip, Hazard played well. They fell behind early in the first half, but managed to take the lead midway through. The Bulldogs would eventually go up by five points just before the half.
The clock and score was reset for the second half. Again, neither team would be able to garner a significant lead. With Time running out, the Maroons took the lead, going up by as many as seven points.
Hazard made a late charge and cut the deficit to two at the horn. With the margin from the first half, the Bulldogs managed to save the win.
**** no scoring was provided for the game.
