On Friday, the Perry County Central Commodores traveled across town to take on the Hazard Bulldogs in their first meeting of the season. The Commodores trailed early, but picked up the pace and captured round one of the season 62-48.

The Bulldogs continued with their pace in the second period, however, the Commodores were able to nearly triple their output. The difference in scoring sent Perry Central into the locker room with a 27-19 advantage.
