Hazard falls to Lee in OT

The Hazard Lady Bulldogs kicked off their 2015 season on the road with the Lee County Bobcats. The game turned into a real barnburner as it would take an overtime period to settle the matter.

Both teams came out hot, and put up a lot of points in the opening period. The Lady Bobcats, however, would hold the 20-17 lead.

The intensity picked up considerable in the second quarter, with Hazard taking control of the momentum. The Lady Bulldogs came back to take the 42-41 lead into the locker room.

Scoring dropped off a little in the third period, and the two teams played to a tie. This sent the Lady Bulldogs into the final frame with the one-point lead 57-56.

The nip-and-tuck battle continued in the fourth quarter, with Lee County being able to make up the one point they needed to tie the game. In the overtime period, the Lady Bobcats took the 10-6 advantage, giving them the 84-80 win.

Walker 1 (6 rebounds), Robinson 16 (12 rebounds and 1 assist) and K. Walker 3 (1 rebound).
