Last week, the Buckhorn Wildcats took on the Lee County Bobcats. Except for a tight first quarter, the contest was controlled by the Wildcats as they roasted their opponents 90-45.
Buckhorn had difficulty distancing themselves from the Bobcats in the first quarter, and finished with a 23-18 lead. However, things would turn around in the second period as the Wildcats hit Lee County with a 27-8 barrage and went into the locker room with the 50-26 advantage.
Buckhorn came out of the break on fire, and quickly set the clock in motion. At that point, the Wildcats began to get some of their younger players in the game. They finished the third period with the 77-39 lead, and went on to win by the final count of 90-45.
