Last week, the Hazard Lady Bulldogs traveled to Campton to take on the Wolfe County Lady Wolves. The Lady Bulldogs were able to stay one step ahead of the Lady Wolves and came away with an impressive 59-44 road win.
Despite struggling with their offense in the first quarter, the Lady Bulldogs were able to take a 10-4 lead. They picked up the pace in the second period, and went into the locker room with the double-digit 25-15 advantage.
Wolfe County made a strong rally in the third period, and nearly cut away the Hazard lead. However, a late rally put them on top 41-35 going into the final period. The Lady Bulldogs rallied in the final eight minutes and took down their opponents 59-44.
