Commodores lose to Bulldogs

The Perry County Central Commodores’ last game in the Traditional Bank Holiday Classic would be against the Lawrence County Bulldogs. The Commodores fell behind early and then made up the difference. However, they would not be able to hold on for the win.

Perry Central was unable to stop Lawrence County in the first period, and fell behind 18-12. Things did not get any better for the Commodores in the second period as they fell behind even further, and went into the break trailing 35-22.

The Commodores came storming back in the third period and erased their deficit. Perry Central ran out of steam in the fourth quarter allowing the Bulldogs to pull off the 55-47 win.

Noah Back hit seven “3”s in the game. Perry Central will play Lawrence County in the open round of the WYMT tournament this week.
