Perry Central another team looking to rebuild

Perry Central’s Courtney Brock is on of the few experienced players that will return for the Lady Commodores next season.

Players like Hannah Melton will have to step up next season if the Lady Commodores are to have a successful season next year.

The Perry County Central Lady Commodore volleyball team finished the 2014 season with a 14-18 record. The Lady Commodores took on the best talent in the state during the regular season, and made a stellar showing in the district tournament against Leslie County.

However, the short comings of the Lady Commodores was that they started six seniors, and had little experience following them for the upcoming season. If Perry Central is to make it’s mark in the upcoming season, they must find six players that are capable of playing at the varsity level. The Lady Commodores may struggle in the opening games of the season, but look for them to make a run come tournament time as they have a veteran coaching staff that can get the most out of their playes.

Perry Central has not posted a complete schedule at this time.
