In the second game of the Scott Blank Classic, the Buckhorn Wildcats took on the Breathitt County Bobcats. The Wildcats were able to use a steady offense to outpace the Bobcats and come away with the 69-40 win.
After a slow start, Buckhorn got their offense rolling, and jumped out to the 16-9 lead in the first period. In the second period things tightened up slightly, but the Wildcats managed a 31-19 advantage at the break.
The Wildcats scoring continued to drop off in the third period, but their defense was more than sufficient to keep the Bobcats at bay. Going into the final period, Buckhorn held the 44-27 lead. They would then save their best for last, going on to down Breathitt County by the final score of 69-40.
