This past weekend, the Buckhorn Wildcats hosted the Scott Blank Classic. In their first game, the Wildcats took on the Riverside Rams.
The Wildcats came out of the gate strong and quickly posted a double-digit lead. By the time the horn sounded to end the first frame, Buckhorn had built a 30-10 lead.
Things only got worse for the Rams in the second period as Buckhorn’s defense held them scoreless. The Wildcats went into the locker room sitting on a 47-10 lead.
Buckhorn went to their bench primarily in the second half, but continued to keep the pressure high. By the end of the third period, the Wildcats were up 71-15. They would go on to win the game by the final count of 91-24.
