Bulldogs cage Cougars

Last week, the Hazard Bulldogs traveled to Morgan County to take on the Cougars. The Bulldogs would get their bats working early in the game, and never looked back as they remained undefeated with the 15-2 win.

Hazard scored early and often in this contest as they were on top 13-0 in the top half of the third inning. Morgan County managed a single run in the bottom of the frame to bring the tally to 13-1.

After a scoreless fourth inning, the Bulldogs put the finishing touches on their offensive barrage, picking up two more runs. Again, the Cougars would muster a single run in retaliation (15-2).

After another inning of play, the game was called with Hazard still in the lead 15-2. Blake Lockhart received the win, going two innings with 0 hits and 0 runs. Jacob Frazier finished the final three innings with 4 hits, 2 runs, 0 walks and 6 strikeouts.
