Last week, the Hazard Bulldogs took to the diamond against North Laurel. The Bulldogs locked up in a tough battle with the Jaguars, and eventually took the 4-3 win.

North Laurel got on the board first with a single run in the first inning. Hazard struck back with a run in each the second and third innings to go up 2-1.

The Jaguars rallied in the fifth inning for a pair of runs that netted them the 3-2 advantage. Not to be outdone, the Bulldogs plated a pair of runs in the bottom of the frame, giving them the 4-3 lead.

Both teams picked up the pace on defense, shutting down the other’s offense. The 4-3 score would hold as the final, keeping the Bulldogs undefeated on the season.

Hazard (4) Cole Ratliff 2 runs and 1 hit, Ryan Smith 1 run and 1 hit, Bailey Blair 1 hit and 1 RBI, Devin Morris 1 run, Rudy Akemon 1 hit and Andy Baker 1 hit.
