Last week, the Hazard Bulldog baseball team traveled to Paintsville to take on the Tigers. The Bulldogs used a steady offense, and a strong defense to pull off the 8-1 victory, keeping their undefeated season alive.

After a zero appeared on the board in the first inning, Hazard went to work. The Bulldogs used the next five innings to build an insurmountable advantage (8-0). The only run Paintsville would get would be a single run in the bottom of the seventh inning (well after the matter had been settled).

Devin Morris got the win for the Bulldogs, giving up 0 hits, 0 runs, 4 walks and 3 strikeouts.

Hazard (8) Blake Nidiffer 1 hit and 2 RBI, Devin Morris 1 hit, 1 run and 1 RBI, Rudy Akemon 1 run, 2 hits and 1 RBI, Blake Lockhart 2 runs and 1 hit, Griffin Wells 1 run, 1 hit and 1 RBI, Ryan Smith 2 runs and 2 hits, Bailey Blair 1 run, 2 hits and 3 RBI.
