Bulldogs drop first of the season to Bears

Last week, the Hazard Bulldogs traveled to Harlan County to take on the Black Bears. The Bulldogs went into the game undefeated with nine wins, but could not keep the streak alive as they fell 0-2.

Hazard would only muster four hits in the game, with limiting Harlan County to seven hits on the night. The Black Bears, however, were able to put two runs across the plates, giving them the 2-0 win.

Hazard (0) Rudy Akemon 1 hit, Cole Ratliff 1 hit and Devin Morris 2 hits.
