Shortly after picking up their first win of the 4th of July tournament, the Hazard-Perry Coyotes were back on the field against Estill County. This game would not go as well for the the Coyotes as they lost ground early, and could not make up the difference.
Estill County opened the game with two runs in the top of the first inning. However, Hazard-Perry would cut the lead in half in the bottom of the frame (2-1).
Estill County followed with a big inning, pushing five runs across the dish, and putting them on top 5-1. Hazard-Perry also put together a rally in the bottom of the inning, however, it would not match that of their opponent. The Coyotes finished the rally with three runs, tightening the count at 7-4.
The game would go three more inning, with neither team being able to find the plate. The 7-4 score would stand as a final, moving Hazard-Perry to the loser’s bracket.
