Commodores shoot down Eagles

On Saturday, the Perry County Central Commodores concluded their Bill Orme Classic experience with the Madison Southern Eagles. The Commodores would give up the first run in the game, but settled down to win the game by the count of 3-1.

Perry Central allowed Madison Southern to garner the first run as they fell behind 0-1 in the second inning. The Commodore defense was stellar on the day, but the offense just could not find the plate. That is, until the final inning. Perry Central put together a three run rally that gave them the come from behind win (3-1)

Evan Hurt picked up the win, going the distance with 1 run, 3 hits, 3 walks and 1 strikeout.

Perry Central (3) Evan Hurt 2 hits and 1 RBI, Brody Dixon 1 run and 1 hit, Kameron Conley 1 run and 1 hit, Seth Napier 1 run and 2 hits, Ryan Couch 1 RBI and Anthony Hughes 1 RBI.
