Last week, the Perry County Central Commodores traveled to Paintsville to take on the Johnson Central Golden Eagles. The Commodores struggled to get their offense going in this game, and eventually fell by the final count of 6-1.
The Eagles were on top of their game early, and touched the Commodores for five runs in the first inning. Perry Central would have to wait until the fourth inning to score their lone run.
Braxton Cottongame got on base via the bunt, and moved to second on the steal. Ronnie Long brought his team mate home with a double (1-5).
Johnson Central had one last run in them as well. It came in the sixth inning, and set the final tally at 1-6.
