The Perry County Central Lady Commodores finished off their 2016 season on the road at Jenkins. The Lady Commodores defeated the Lady Cavaliers 8-6 last week in the Tim Short Classic, but would not find the offensive power to pull off the sweep.

Jenkins used the first two innings to build the 5-0 lead. Perry Central then got both of their runs in the third inning to bring the tally to 5-2.

The only other run of the game would belong to the Lady Cavaliers as they plated a single run in the sixth inning. The Lady Commodores had no rallies left down the stretch, and finished their regular season with the 6-2 loss.

Lauryn Amburgey got the loss, going six innings with 12 hits, 6 runs, 0 walks and 3 strikeouts.

Perry Central (2) Emilee Eversole 2 hits, Lexi Haddix 1 run and 1 hit, Maddi Minks 1 hit and Keisha Couch 1 run.
