Hazard’s Rose Clemons was one of the Lady Bulldogs’ offensive weapons last season, and will be counted on this year.

Last season, the Hazard Lady Bulldog soccer team was a much more formidable foe than their 5-10 record would indicate. The Lady Bulldogs were in many of their games until the final moments, and most were decided by a single goal.

Hazard lost four players, Lindsey Ambrose, Amanda Asher, Lauren Little and Carmen Shepherd, to graduation. Asher and Shepherd accounted for 41.5% of the Lady Bulldogs’ offense.

The Lady Bulldogs will be in good shape next season as they could have as many as 12 juniors that will return to the field. They will get strong offensive support from Rose Clemons, McCall Davis and Kennedy Arnett who each contributed significantly last season.

The first scheduled game for Hazard next season is listed as August 30 at Perry Central.
