The Perry County Central Lady Commodores finished last year’s soccer season with a 10-8 record. The Lady Commodores made a strong showing in post season play, and would like to go further in the playoffs this season.

Despite losing several key players to graduation, Bailey Campbell, Katelyn Cornett, Megan Jones, Megan Lewis and Erika White, Perry Central will be returning a wealth of talent. The Lady Commodores also lost goal keeper Lamis Tiehen as she returned to Germany.

The Lady Commodores will be returning a majority of their firepower as 90% of their offense will hit the pitch. Whitley Gordon led the team with 15 goals last season, while Kelly Arredondo added 9 goals. Keisha Couch, Jadison Eversole, Vada Miller, Taylor Noble and Allie Campbell all had multiple goals.

The Lady Commodores are scheduled to start play August 17 with the Breathitt County Lady Bobcats.
