On Thursday, the Hazard Lady Bulldog and the Perry County Central Commodore volleyball teams took to the court in their first district match up of the season. The Lady Bulldogs were able to dominate play at the net, and came away with a 3-0 win.
Perry Central looked as if they would start strong in the first game, but quickly fell off after a 4-all tie. Hazard quickly went to work, and ended the game with a 25-8 score.
Game two would play out much like the first, with the Lady Commodores hanging around in the early moments. However, the Lady Bulldogs would once again prove too much, pulling off the 25-6 win.
Perry Central would not be able to find their groove in the third game, and Hazard raced to the 25-6 win. The Lady Bulldogs took round one of the district match up with a 3-0 victory.
