Late last week, the Perry County Central Commodore welcomed the Letcher Central Cougars to the pitch. The Commodores dominated play throughout the contest, and walked away with their 6th win of the season 6-1.

Despite dominating possession of the ball in the first half, Perry Central would not score until the 17th minute. Jake Mullis was able to place a ball through the middle of the Letcher defense for a one-on-one goal by Dagen Combs (1-0).

At the 30 minute mark, mayhem broke loose on the field, and the game would be finished with Perry Central holding a 10 to 9 player advantage. The Commodores took advantage of the disadvantage bringing the score to 3-0 at the half as Dylan Adams scored on a corner kick, and Dagen Combs scored on a long range goal off the assist by Andrew Miller.

In the second half, Devin Butler dribbled through the Letcher defense, John Watts scored on a solo run to the goal, and Dagen Combs dropped a pass to Cameron King for the 6-0 lead. However, Letcher would break the ice on a goal with less than a minute remaining in the game (6-1).

Perry Central (6) Goals: Dylan Adams 1, Devin Butler 1, Dagen Combs 2, Cameron King 1 and John Watts 1. Assists: Dagen Combs 1 and Andrew Miller 1.
