Early last week, the Perry County Central Lady Commodore and Buckhorn Lady Wildcat volleyball teams took to the floor in a battle of winless teams. When the smoke cleared, one of the teams would walk away with their first win of the season.
Perry Central came out strong in game one, outpacing Buckhorn to the 25-10 win. However, the momentum would not stay with the Lady Commodores as the Lady Wildcats shocked their opponents with a 25-15 win, tying the match.
In the third game, the Lady Commodores set the tempo for much of the series, going on to win the game by the final tally of 25-18. The win set the tone for the fourth game as the Lady Commodores took the game and the match by the final score of 25-15 (3-1).
