Early last week, the Buckhorn Lady Wildcat and Perry Central Lady Commodore soccer teams hooked up in their second meeting of the year. The Lady Commodores won the first meeting 12-0.

The Lady Wildcat defense was much improved since the first meeting, and made the Lady Commodores work to get their shots off. Perry Central was unable to notch the “mercy” ruling in the first half (8-0), and had to wait until the second half to end the game.

Just minutes into the second half, Perry Central would get the goals they needed to bring the game to an end. The Lady Commodores took the second meeting of the regular season 10-0.

Perry Central (10) Goals: Kelly Arredondo 2, Keisha Couch 1, Madison Eversole 1, Erin Gambill 2, Whitley Gordon 2, Vada Miller 1 and Brittany Taylor 1.
