On Saturday, the Perry County Central Lady Commodore soccer team hosted the Berea Lady Pirates. Despite putting up a strong defensive effort early in this game, the Lady Commodores struggled to get their offense on track.

Both teams excelled on the defensive end of the field in the first half. However, as the game neared the half, Perry Central had a lapse that cost them a goal (1-0), sending them to the break trailing.

The Lady Commodores played hard in the second half, and had many runs at the goal, but just could not finish. As time was running out in the game, the Lady Pirated came up with a pair of quick goals (one with about three seconds on the clock) to take the 3-0 win.
