The Perry County Red Raider football team has been on a tear of late, winning seven consecutive games. This week’s victim would be North Laurel.
Nolan Wooton opened the scoring for Perry County with a 14 yard touchdown. Hayden Canady hooked up with Phoenix Eddington for the 2-pt conversion.
The Red Raiders went up 16-0 after a Canady to Tyler Day pass got them in the end zone. Day also added the conversion on a reverse play.
Wooton was able to pick up his second score of the game late. Wooton came off the left tackle and rambled 22 yards to the dance floor.
The final score for Perry County came in the fourth quarter when Canady dove across the line from 1 yard out. The score set the final tally at 28-6, giving the Red Raiders their seven win in a row.
