Commodores take down Rams

Perry Central’s Noah Summerset came out of goal for the Commodores’ final game of the regular season and scored 2 goals and had 1 assist.


Perry Central’s Chance Francis left his position in goal to score a goal and add 2 assists in the Commodores 8-1 win over Riverside.


The Perry County Central Commodore soccer team concluded their regular season this weekend with the Riverside Rams. The Commodores went primarily with their younger players in the game, and came away with the 8-1 win.

The Commodores did not play any of their regular starters from mid forward, and managed to take the early lead. The Rams got a goal late in the game to set the final tally at 8-1.

The Commodores were paced by Noah Summerset who came out of goal to get 2 goals and an assist. Chance Francis finished the contest with 2 assists and 1 goal.

Perry Central stats: Goals: Chance Francis 1, Jason Hall 1, Shawn Huff 1, Ben Melton 1, Andrew Miller 1, Jackson Morgan 1 and Noah Summerset 2. Assists: Chance Francis 2, Ryan Smith 1 and Noah Summerset 1.
