On Wednesday, the Hazard Lady Bulldogs hooked up with the Leslie County Lady Eagles in a volleyball match that would determine the 54th district champions. The two teams split their regular season meetings, with each taking a win on the road.
The first game went back and forth, with Hazard taking the 14-12 lead. At that point, Leslie County served out the game, taking the 25-14 win.
