The Perry County Central boys’ soccer team will not have any trouble fielding a team this season as they have 39 players looking to don the Commodore uniform. The Commodores will have a wealth of talent as they have 14 seniors on the team.

Perry Central has several other returning players as five sophomores and five juniors are on the team. The ever growing program will also field a total of 15 freshmen. When asked about the large number of players on the team, Coach Andrew Lunsford replied, “We will have to find a way to get them all some playing time. We will have to play a pretty extensive JV schedule.”

Perry Central will play their only scrimmage game this weekend at Madison Southern. The Commodores will take on the Pulaski County Maroons.
