The Perry County Central Commodores finished their week on the road at the Harlan County Black Bears’ den. The Commodores committed several turnovers, and put the Bears on the line 30 times leading them to the 82-75 loss.
The Commodores fell behind early in the game, coming up short 16-9 in the first period. Perry Central continued to loose ground in the second period, and went into the break trailing 33-23.
Perry Central picked up the pace late in the third period, but could not cut into the lead (51-38). Things heated up in the fourth quarter as the Commodores broke loose for 37 points. Unfortunately, this would not be enough for a comeback, and Perry Central fell by the score of 82-75.
