Early in the week, the Buckhorn Wildcats traveled to Jackson to take on the Jackson City Tigers. The Wildcats took the early lead and never looked back as they scratched the Tigers 62-52
Buckhorn got off to a good start, and put Jackson City down by double-digits in the first period (16-6). The Tigers were able to rally in the second period, and pulled to within a basket at the half (25-23).
The Wildcats got back on track in the third period, and reestablished their double-digit lead, and led 43-34 going into the final period. Despite a strong showing by Jackson City in the fourth quarter, Buckhorn was able to hold on for the 62-52 win.
