In their second game of the J.P. Deaton Classic, the Perry County Central Lady Commodores took on the Lady Rebels of Boone County. Perry Central trailed early in this game, but managed to pull away in the second half for the 64-47 win.
The game got off to a slow start as both teams struggled from the floor. By the end of the first period, Perry Central trailed 13-12. The pace increased in the second period, with the Lady Commodores taking the one-point advantage in the frame, sending the game to the intermission tied at 29.
After an ice cold start in the third period, the Lady Commodores began to pick up some momentum. The rally led them to the 44-39 lead at the end of the third period, and the eventual 64-47 win.
