Bulldogs move into championship game with win over Lions

The Hazard Bulldogs took on the Garrard County Golden Lions in the semifinals of the Hyden Bank Christmas Classic. The Bulldogs Jumped out to the early lead, and never looked back as they caged the Lions 66-40.

Hazard got off to a slow start, but continued to pick up the pace as the first half wore on. At the end of the first period, the Bulldogs were up 15-10, and went into the locker room sitting on a 37-17 advantage.

The Bulldog momentum carried over to the second half as Hazard was firing on all cylinders. Hazard had the game on ice as they entered the final period (56-27). They would quickly go to the bench in the fourth quarter, as they eased into the championship game with the 66-40 win.

Hazard (66) Wade Pelfrey 10, Ryan Smith 19, Cheikh Ndiaye 1, Chase Pennington 12, Jacob Johnson 15, Logan Hall 3, Reece Fletcher 2, Dylan Campbell 2 and Mason Collins 2.
