Early this week, the Perry County Central Commodores traveled to Campton to take on the Wolfe County Wolves. The Commodores got off to a good start, and never looked back as they caged the Wolves 84-64.
Wolfe County got off to a good start, but they were unable to keep pace with the Commodores. Perry Central ended the period with the 27-16 lead.
Perry Central cooled off slightly in the second period, allowing the Wolves to keep things close. Going into the break, the Commodores were on top 45-31.
The Commodores came out of the intermission cold, allowing the Wolves to cut deep into their lead. Perry Central went into the final period, leading by 3 points (59-56).
Perry Central turned the tables in the fourth quarter, and put the game on ice early. The Commodores went on to win the game by the final count of 84-64.
