Late foul troubles sink Buckhorn at OBI

Late in the week, the Buckhorn Wildcats traveled to Oneida Baptist to take on the Mountaineers. The Wildcats held the lead going into the fourth quarter, but multiple fouls forced them to give up the win 60-54.

The game got off to a slow start as both teams barely tallied double-digits in the first period (8-5). The pace picked up in the second period with Buckhorn holding onto their lead (22-18) going into the half.

The Wildcats continued to hold onto their lead throughout the third period, and went into the final quarter with the 39-33 advantage. Buckhorn was called for 14 fouls in the fourth quarter, allowing Oneida Baptist to take the lead from the foul line. The Mountaineers went on to win the game by the final count of 60-54.
