Last week, the Hazard Bulldogs took to the road to take on the Sheldon Clark Cardinals. The Bulldogs started well, but fell victim to a slow second period. They were unable to recover, and fell 58-41.
Hazard got off to a good start, taking the 12-9 lead in the first period, however, things slowed down in the second period as they could muster but one field goal. Going into the half, the Bulldogs trailed 26-15.
The Bulldogs picked up the pace in the third period, playing even with the Cardinals (13-all). Sheldon Clark was able to keep Hazard from putting together a comeback rally in the fourth quarter, dropping the Bulldogs 58-41.
