Late last week, the Perry County Central Commodores traveled to Jackson to take on the Breathitt County Bobcats. The Commodores jumped all over the Bobcats and rolled to the 13-1 win.
Perry Central opened the game with four runs in the top of the first inning. The rally was highlighted by a home run off the bat of Brody Dixon.
Breathitt County rounded out the first inning with a single run, bringing the tally to 4-1. The Commodores came right back with another four runs in the second inning, extending their lead to 8-1.
The only other scoring in the game came in the fourth inning, when Perry Central topped off the scoring with a five spot.
The Commodores went on to win the game by the final tally of 13-1.
