He was the son of the late Sam Miller and the late Elizabeth Fugate Miller. He was also preceded in death by four brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Lesia Miller; daughter Mary Jane Collins; sons Timmy Ray Miller and Daniel Lee Miller; sisters Nancy Shepherd and Katherine Miller; brothers Charlie Miller and Scott Miller and five grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard. Visitation will be held at the Millertown Baptist Church where the family will receive friends after 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 19. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 10 with Noah Miller and Clayton Stacy officiating. Interment will be at Miller-Collins Cemetery at Dice.
