The daughter of the late Morris Stidham and the late Grace Morris Stidham, she was born on October 16, 1934. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Hoskins, daughters Glenna Sue Stidham and Lisa Hoskins, and brothers Roy Stidham.
She is survived by her sons, Douglas Gene Hoskins of Yerkes, Harold Gene Hoskins of Corbin and Jimmy Hoskins of Yerkes; daughters Linda Abner and Brenda Couch, both of Yerkes; brothers Vernon Stidham of Michigan, Morris Stidham, Jr., Marshall Stidham and Donnie Stidham, all of Yerkes; sisters Hager Owens and Allene Salisbury of Indiana, Geneva Sizemore of Krypton, and Mary Stidham and Audrey Neace, both of Dice. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 27 at the Engle-Walker Funeral Home of Hazard with Johnny Ambrose officiating. The burial followed in the Scalem Cemetery at Yerkes.
