On Saturday, the Dodgers and the Cubs took to the little league field. All of the scoring was done in the first half of the game, as the two teams settled down into a old-fashioned battle.

Each team scored a run in the first inning. The Cubs opened a lead (2-1) in the third inning, only to see the Dodgers score two in the bottom of the frame.

Neither team could touch the plate in the second half of the game, and the Dodgers came away with the hard-fought 3-2 win.

Dodgers (3)

K. Johnson 1 hit and 2 runs, D. Fields 1 hit and 1 run, C. Johnson 1 hit, B. Dixon 1 hit and J. Johnson 1 hit.

Cubs (2)

C. Turner 1 run. R. Long 1 hit and 1 run, T. Pollard 2 hits, and C. Ford 1 hit.
