The Hazard Bulldogs were able to get in two games last week as they prepare for the postseason. The Bulldogs traveled to Boyle County on Thursday, and hosted Letcher Central on Friday. Hazard was able to come away with the split, losing on the road, and winning at home.

The Bulldogs had trouble scoring on Boyle County and came up short on a 13-4 score. However, the Hazard fortunes would change at home with Letcher Central. The Bulldog bats came alive, and 14 runners crossed the plate. They went on to win the game by the final count of 14-7.

The Bulldogs took on Perry County Central in the district tournament on Monday after press time in the first meeting between the two teams this season.

Hazard finished the season with a 20-12 record, and went 11-2 in the region. Perry Central finished their season with a 10-19 record, and went 3-9 in the region.
