The Cardinals and the Braves hooked up in a thriller on the little league field last week. The game went back and forth throughout with the Cardinals putting together a big rally late for the win.

The Cardinals broke the ice first with a run in the first inning. The Braves tied the game in the second innning.

The Cardinals broke the tie in the fourth inning as they plated their second run (2-1). Again, the Braves tied the game in their next at bat (2-2). However, the tie would be broken for good as the Cardinals rallied for three runs in the fifth inning. The lead would stand, and the Cardinals collected the 5-2 win.

Cardinals (5)

Jacob Woolum 1 run, Kyle Stamper 2 runs, Corey Sizemore 1 hit (HR) and 2 runs, and Sam Goldman 1 hit.

Braves (2)

C. J. Sebastian 1 hit, M. Collett 1 run, J. Pennington 1 hit and N. Hoskins 1 run.
