Thursday afternoon the Perry County Sheriff's Department was notified that a person was allegedly seen entering a mobile home at the Coal Ridge community off Ky. 15 at Grapevine. Deputies David Gray and Sam Noble responded.

The back door was allegedly open, and Deputy Gray went inside. In one of the bedrooms Deputy Gray said he found Ronald "Deeter" Neace disassembling a Day Bed to get it out of the room, and out of the house. Thieves allegedly had already taken a computer and software from the same room.

The irony of this story is that Deeter now has a need for the bed he was trying to take since he is having to sleep on the floor at the overcrowded Perry County Detention Center.

Neace was charged with alleged third-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking, and also had two failure to appear warrants. One warrant was a felony, the other a misdemeanor. Neace's bond was set at $25,000 cash.
