Dodgers drop Reds 11-5

The Dodgers and the Reds closed out the weeks little league action in the Park. The Dodgers built an early 5-1 advantage, and avoided a Reds comeback as they went on to win by a final score of 11-5.
The Reds got on the board first with a run in the top half of the first inning. The Dodgers quickly erased the run with a pair in the bottom of the frame (2-1). At the end of two, the Dodgers had stretched the margin to four runs at 5-1.
The Reds drew to within one run (5-4) in the top of the third inning, but gave two back to the Dodgers in the fourth inning (7-4). The Reds scratched a run off the lead in the fifth inning (7-5), but relinquished four in the bottom of the inning (11-5).
The Reds could not get a rally going in the sixth inning, giving the Dodgers the 11-5 win. Devin Turner got the win on the mound for the Dodgers.
Dodgers stats: Ricky Gibson: 1 hit, 3 runs, and 1 RBI, Cade Fletcher: 3 runs, Nathan Stupart: 2 runs, Devin Turner: 2 runs, and Jacob Whitaker: 1 run.
Reds stats: Kevin Eversole: 1 run, Mack Hall: 1 hit, 1 run and 1 RBI, Connor Hurt: 1 run, and Shaine Baker: 2 hits, 2 runs and 2 RBI.
