Yankees ten-run Reds

After picking up a hard-fought win on Friday night, the Yankees opened the Saturday festivities on the little league field. The Yankees took on the Reds in the opening game. They were able to pick up all the runs they would need to collect the win in the first inning, and cruised to the 13-3 win in four innings.

The Yankees picked up five runs in the first inning, but allowed the Reds to cut the lead to 5-3 by the end of the third inning. The Yankees then picked up two runs in the bottom of the inning (7-3), and brought the game to an end in the bottom of the fourth inning with six runs (13-3).

Ryan Gray picked up the win on the mound for the Yankees.

Yankee stats: Tyler Day: 3 hits and 2 runs, Jarrod Combs: 2 hits and 1 run, Ryan Gray: 2 hits and 2 runs, Joey Sams: 2 hits and 3 runs, Derrick Luttrell: 1 hit and 2 runs, Jordan Campbell: 1 hit, 2 runs, and 4 RBI, and Dylan Walker: 1 run.

Reds stats: Collier Mobellini: 1 hit, Ryan Whitaker: 1 run, Mack Hall: 2 hits and 1 run, and Devin Eversole: 1 run.
